Getting to The Westin Copley Place

The Westin Copley Place sits in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay, just steps from popular attractions, dining, and shopping. It is easily accessible via both the MBTA (Boston’s public transit system) and Amtrak, with Back Bay Station (Orange Line and Commuter Rail) and Copley Station (Green Line) only a short walk away.
 

Recommended: Logan Express Back Bay

For the quickest and most seamless trip from Logan International Airport, we recommend using the Logan Express BackBay. This bright orange bus departs from every airport terminal every 30 minutes between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, and it’s free when traveling from the airport. The ride takes about 20 minutes.

• Where to get off: Exit at the second stop in Back Bay, then follow signs into the Copley Place Mall. Take the escalator to Level One, walk past Louis Vuitton, and cross the Westin Bridge into the hotel.

• Return trip: $3 (includes priority security line at the airport).
   

Other Public Transit Options

If you prefer using the MBTA, expect a 45-minute trip with multiple transfers:

• Blue Line Route: Take the 66 or 33 Shuttle Bus from your terminal to the MBTA Blue Line station, ride four stops to Government Center, switch to the Green Line, and travel three stops to Copley Station. From there, it’s a three-minute walk to the Westin.

• Orange Line Route: From the Blue Line, ride three stops to State Street, switch to the Orange Line, and go four stops to Back Bay Station, then walk four minutes to the hotel.

• Silver Line & Commuter Rail: Take the Silver Line to South Station, then catch a Commuter Rail train one stop to Back Bay. Trains on this route can be less frequent, so check the schedule in advance.
   

Taxis & Rideshares

A regular taxi or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) generally takes 15–20 minutes from the airport, costing around $30. Often, there is little to no wait for a taxi, and travel times are typically the same for both taxis and rideshares.
